ReGrid Surface Mount Straps Overhead Installation

The concrete Span-Crete box planking over the crawlspace was experiencing major rebar corrosion in this Wisconsin residence.

Fortress Carbon Kevlar Re:Grid straps were used to reinforce the failed rebar. Spacing was designed based on the loss of tensile strength from the failed steel. Anti-corrosion treatment and cleaning of corrosion was also performed on the remaining steel, and a 5000psi grout was then formed up. The top side of the slab was also waterproofed with one component poly caulk.
